Brass Wall Art & Frames
Brass Wall Art & Frames
Rococo mirrors with open scrollwork, cartouche-shape frames, and wall medallions.
Brass Wall Art & Frames from the Brass and Wood Atelier
Our brass wall art begins with an armature cast in our Cairo foundry — then carved, polished, and sometimes paired with porcelain or tapestry inserts. The Baroque-Rococo open scrollwork mirrors are cut-through, so wall color shows behind them. Cartouche frames take standard portrait dimensions. Medallions mount on a single hidden bracket.
Detail: Rococo, Baroque, Neoclassical styles worked in brass, porcelain, silver. Techniques include hand-painted, hand-carved, scrollwork on acanthus, floral, and figural motifs.

Common questions
Do the mirrors and frames come with mounting hardware?
Yes — heavy-duty French cleats or hooks, rated for 3x the piece's weight. Screws and wall anchors included. Installation instructions in the package.
Can mirrors be cut to a non-standard size?
The outer brass frames are fixed size. The mirror inserts can be replaced — if you need a specific dimension, message us with the frame you want and the mirror size you need; we'll quote for a custom mirror to fit.
What's the typical frame size?
Portrait-oriented frames accommodate standard photo/print sizes (A4, A3, 11x14, 16x20 inch). Cartouche and medallion shapes have rebate sizes listed on each product page.
Are your mirrors real glass or acrylic?
Real silvered mirror glass, 3mm thickness, proper reflection quality. Not acrylic. This is why pieces are weighty and ship in crates — for protection, not to pad the price.
Brass and Wood is a Cairo-based atelier. Pieces are cast, carved, and finished in our workshop. We ship worldwide, with care.
