Vases & Chocolate Platter Sets
Vase & Platter Sets
3-piece garnitures, 5-piece vanity sets, and matched vase pairs with shared decoration.
Vase & Platter Sets from the Brass and Wood Atelier
Sets in the classical French tradition — one tall vase flanked by two shorter ones, or a 5-piece vanity of engraved box, candlesticks, and bowls. Garnitures share the same hand-painted scene or color ground (forest green, wine, cobalt, celadon) so the coordination is real, not just matched finishes. Engagement gifts, wedding hostess gifts, anniversary pieces.
Detail: Rococo, Neoclassical styles worked in brass, crystal, porcelain. Techniques include hand-painted, engraved on acanthus, floral, and figural motifs.
How we work
- Solid brass, not plated. Cast in our Cairo foundry. Weight you can feel.
- Hand-finished. Chiseling, polishing, patina work — every piece passes through a human hand.
- Dhl express worldwide shipping. Crated for international transit, insured in transit.
- 14-day return window. If the piece doesn't work in your space, it returns to us.
- Custom commissions accepted. Chandeliers, floor lamps, large sculptures — 6-12 week lead time.
Common questions
What counts as a 'set' in your collection?
A garniture — 3, 5, or 7 pieces with shared decoration (same ground color, same hand-painted motif). Not 'matching' individual pieces, but designed as one unit. Dismantle or display together.
Are sets better for gifts than individual pieces?
Depends on the occasion. Engagement and wedding gifts traditionally call for sets (the French garniture tradition). New-home housewarming can work with individual statement pieces. Message us with the occasion — we'll advise.
Can I break up a set and buy pieces individually?
Usually no — sets are designed as a unit and priced accordingly. We'd rather recommend an individual piece from our broader catalog than break a set.
Do you coordinate new pieces with sets bought earlier?
Yes, if the original set is from our catalog. Give us the SKU or order number and we'll find matching pieces. Dye-lot and color may shift slightly over years — we'll flag any visible differences.
Brass and Wood is a Cairo-based atelier. Pieces are cast, carved, and finished in our workshop. We ship worldwide, with care.
