The central column and canopy are adorned with dense acanthus carvings and egg-and-dart moldings worked in the round — details that reward close inspection. Eight scrolled arms radiate outward in a single tier, each terminating in a fluted bobeche cup that cradles an individual candle-style E14 socket. The hurricane glass shades — lightly etched with a delicate craquelé-inspired texture — diffuse candlelight warmly while evoking the storm lanterns of the Georgian era. Cascading crystal drops, suspended from the bobeches and the central finial, catch and refract light into prismatic brilliance, completing the composition with sparkling movement.
