Baroque Brass & Crystal 12-Arm Chandelier with Acanthus Scroll Canopy

Design & Inspiration
Few objects command a room the way a truly grand chandelier does — and this 12-arm Baroque brass and crystal chandelier demands precisely that authority. Inspired by the opulent court lighting of 17th and 18th century European palaces, this piece faithfully reproduces the sculptural drama of the Baroque era: bold, asymmetric acanthus scrollwork sweeps upward through two tiers of radiating candle arms, crowned by a deeply carved floral canopy from which the entire composition descends. The warm, burnished finish of the cast brass catches candlelight in the way gilded bronze once illuminated the halls of Versailles and the Palazzo Reale — alive, shifting, and entirely magnetic.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Every element of this chandelier is hand-cast in solid brass using traditional lost-wax and sand-casting methods, with each acanthus leaf, scroll volute, and candle bobeche individually finished by skilled artisans. The crystal drops — elongated spear-form and faceted almond pendants — are precision-cut to refract light at maximum brilliance, scattering prismatic reflections across ceilings and walls. Twelve E14 candelabra sockets are mounted on sweeping, organically curving arms across two registers: a broad lower tier of eight arms and an upper tier of four, all converging at a turned central column that rises to the ornate canopy above. The result is a composition of extraordinary visual weight — sculptural in three dimensions, opulent in material quality.
