The soaring gilt bronze shaft, wrapped in flowing spiral reliefs of acanthus leaves, laurel garlands, and classical rosettes, rises from a solid rose marble plinth that anchors the composition with aristocratic weight. Star-medallion inlays on the marble faces echo the Napoleonic iconography that defined an era.
Materials & Finish
The column shaft and capital are cast and hand-chased in solid brass with a warm gold-leaf finish, faithfully replicating the ormolu technique of 19th-century Parisian workshops. The base and cap are hewn from genuine rose-veined marble, each piece unique in its natural patterning. A finely beaded brass moulding trims the plinth, unifying the two materials with elegant precision.
