Materials & Finish
The frame is constructed from solid mahogany hardwood, finished to a deep warm lustre with a high-gloss lacquer. The top surface features a parquetry-veneered panel framed by a polished brass gallery rail. Every decorative mount — from the swag-and-tassel corner brackets to the elaborate central cartouche — is individually cast in brass and finished in antique gilt bronze ormolu, lending authentic period character.
Craftsmanship
Each piece is hand-built by master artisans at Brass & Wood's Cairo atelier. The cabriole legs taper to ornamental gilt sabots, and the lower tier shelf echoes the serpentine silhouette of the top, edged with the same brass banding. Mortise-and-tenon joinery ensures structural integrity, while the hand-polished ormolu mounts are fitted with traditional methods for a seamless, heirloom-quality finish.
