Brass and Wood is a Cairo atelier working in solid brass and natural wood since a generation. Our antiques collection covers vases, bonbonnieres, candlesticks, decorative plates, ashtrays, tissue boxes, censers, brass statues, and picture frames — all cast, carved, and hand-finished in our workshop. Styles include Rococo, Baroque, Neoclassical, Louis XV, Empire, and Orientalist. These are heirloom pieces, not mass-produced replicas: you can feel the weight, see the hand-work, and know the piece will outlast trends.

How we work

Solid brass. Cast in our Cairo foundry — weight you can feel.
Hand-finished. Chiseling, polishing, patina work on every piece.
Dhl express worldwide shipping. Crated for transit, insured.
14-day returns. If the piece doesn't work, it returns.
Custom commissions. Chandeliers, large sculptures — 6-12 week lead.

What makes Brass and Wood antiques different from mass-produced decor?

Everything in our collection is cast in solid brass (not plated) in our Cairo foundry, then hand-finished — chiseling, polishing, patina. You feel the weight. No two finished pieces are identical because human hands touch every one.

Do you ship antiques internationally with insurance?

Yes — DHL Express to most countries, crated and insured in transit. We've shipped over 500 pieces abroad; zero damage in the last 200 orders.

Can I commission a specific antique style or custom piece?

Yes. 6-12 week lead time depending on complexity. Send us references (photo, style era, rough dimensions) and we quote before starting.

Are these real antiques or reproduction antiques?

Reproductions in classical styles — Rococo, Baroque, Neoclassical, Empire, Louis XV, Orientalist — cast and finished by Egyptian artisans using traditional techniques. Designed to outlast trends and become heirlooms. We don't sell genuine-antique (1800s original) pieces.
