Inspired by the refined court interiors of eighteenth-century Versailles, this tea trolley captures the serene elegance of the Louis XVI Neoclassical period. Slender tapered legs crowned with gilded collars, delicate garland swags cast in brass, and gracefully scrolled candelabra-style corner posts evoke the restrained opulence that defined an era. The ivory lacquer ground serves as a luminous canvas for hand-painted pink and blush floral garlands that cascade across both the main shelf and the lower tier.

Materials & Finish

The structural frame is built from solid hardwood, hand-finished in a warm ivory lacquer that is lightly distressed to suggest provenance and age. Every ornamental mount — from the pierced gallery rail atop the removable tray to the acanthus medallions at each leg junction — is cast in solid brass and finished in genuine gold leaf. The result is a harmonious dialogue between the creamy white ground and the warm gleam of aged gold.

Craftsmanship

Each piece leaves the Brass & Wood atelier only after passing through the hands of multiple specialist artisans: carpenters who shape and join the solid-wood chassis, gilders who apply and burnish the gold-leaf brass hardware, and painters who render every petal and leaf of the floral motifs entirely by hand. The three-tier configuration — removable gallery tray, primary serving shelf, and lower storage shelf — combines ceremony with practicality, making this trolley as functional as it is breathtaking.
