Cabriole legs sweep outward with characteristic S-shaped grace, terminating in gilded sabots. Each of the lavish ormolu mounts — the central cartouche on the apron, the knee appliques, and the decorative feet — is cast in brass and hand-finished to an antique gold patina, lending the piece its unmistakable aristocratic character.
