This magnificent column pedestal draws directly from the grandeur of Neoclassical Europe, where ancient Greek and Roman architectural forms were reborn in the palaces and salons of the 18th and 19th centuries. The towering shaft, adorned with gilded brass swag ornaments and a fully detailed Corinthian capital, speaks to an era that worshipped proportion, elegance, and the harmony of antiquity. The square plinth base, dressed with gilt figural mounts, anchors the composition with commanding presence.

Materials & Finish

Handcrafted by Brass & Wood artisans in Egypt, this pedestal combines warm, richly veined natural marble with precision-cast brass mounts finished in antique gold. The marble's creamy beige tones and amber veining lend organic warmth, while the burnished brass capitals, collars, swag drapery details, and base plaques introduce ceremonial luminosity. Every metal element is hand-finished to achieve depth and richness befitting a collector's piece.

Craftsmanship

Each pedestal is assembled by hand, with the marble shaft sections fitted and polished individually before the brass elements are carefully seated and secured. The Corinthian capital — one of the most demanding motifs in classical architecture — is cast in solid brass and hand-chased to bring out every acanthus leaf and volute scroll in sharp, sculptural relief. The result is a display pedestal that functions equally as a standalone sculptural statement.
