Materials & Craftsmanship
The bowl is crafted from thick-walled cut crystal, its exterior faceted with a repeating geometric and floral motif — rosettes, star bursts, and sunburst medallions — that catch and scatter light across the room with every shift in angle. The base is cast and hand-finished brass, formed into four scrolled Rococo legs joined by an openwork apron of acanthus-scroll fretwork. At each cardinal point, bold cast acanthus-leaf mounts rise to cradle the crystal bowl, echoing the rocaille and foliage vocabulary that defines the Louis XV period. Every element is assembled by hand at our Egyptian atelier, with the brass components polished to a warm, lustrous finish.
