The tripod base is the lamp's crowning structural achievement. Cast and hand-finished in brass, it erupts in deeply sculpted rocaille scrolls, acanthus leaf clusters, and foliate cartouches — motifs drawn directly from the vocabulary of Louis XV cabinetmakers. The three cabriole legs terminate in pronounced scroll feet, each one curling with organic confidence. Rising from the base, a reeded column — echoing the fluted pilasters of French palatial interiors — carries the composition upward to a centrepiece ceramic urn: hand-painted in white porcelain with gilded arabesque scrollwork and delicate floral medallions, a nod to the celebrated Sèvres porcelain tradition. A secondary spherical ceramic node reinforces the composition below, its painted decoration in perfect visual harmony with the urn above. The pleated white fabric shade, gathered into precise knife pleats, softens the lamp's metallic brilliance while casting a warm, diffused glow through fine woven fabric.
